“deal almost done”, Man United agrees personal terms to sign Juventus ace

Manchester United and Juventus are locked in transfer talks with three big names included.

The Turin-based outfit is keen to land Romelu Lukaku after the Belgian was told he was no longer first selection at old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desires Marcus Rashford to be his main man this year which has pissed off Lukaku.

The former Everton forward believes he ought to be a leader and has already spoken about his dream of playing in Italy.

Inter Milan were the favourites after Antonio Conte made a personal plea to sign the striker.

But the San Siro outfit have baulked at the price of £90m, permitting Juve to steal in.

And a part of their offer included Paulo Dybala, which has got United’s attention.

La Joya is vastly admired by both ed Woodward and Solskjaer and has been marginalised at the old lady.

However, there are doubts over whether or not the argentine forward needs to move to Manchester.

And the Daily Mail is reporting that Mandzukic is on the verge of joining – possibly instead of Dybala.

Personal terms have been agreed with the 33-year-old price £6.2m-a-year on a three-year deal.

Maurizio Sarri has told Mandzukic he’s not a part of his plans and Solskjaer sees the Croatian as a fine back-up.

The Daily Mail goes on to state that a deal is virtually done for the former Bayern Munich hitman and confirmation should be declared in the coming days.

It follows the news that a transfer has been agreed for Harry Maguire for £80m from Leicester.

Maguire and Mandzukic will be a part of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka as new signings at United.
