Manchester United eyeing up potential transfers for £115m Premier League pair

Manchester United keep on being connected with potential transfer moves for Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff and West Ham defender Issa Diop.

A piece in the Manchester Evening News subtleties the Red Devils’ transfer choices, and clarifies that the £50million-evaluated Longstaff stays needed by the club in January.

This bodes well given Man Utd’s absence of choices in midfield, with Nemanja Matic battling for playing time after a poor pre-season, while Ander Herrera left in the summer without a substitution coming in.

Somewhere else, the MEN report on West Ham focus back Diop being a reputed choice for United, and he has recently been connected with the club before by the Telegraph.

Diop looks an energizing youthful ability who could reinforce MUFC’s guard, however, he won’t come modest as Foot Mercato have recently guaranteed West Ham need as much as £65m for him.

Whenever United could by one way or another get the two players in sooner rather than later, it could go far towards improving things for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has persevered through an extreme beginning to the season after apparently not fortifying enough in the summer.
